"Elements of Magic with Yule, Riyana, and Wildflower
In this class we begin the practice of Magic, Witchcraft, & connecting to the sacred by working with the Elements of Magic: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit.
Elements of Magic is the first of the core classes for the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft and Magic. Journeying together through earth, air, fire, water and spirit, we will work with the tools of trance, movement, sound, silence, divination and more. Each class is itself a ritual and will include deep magical workings, as well as time for integration and community building.
We hold the intent that this work will help us to build and deepen our relationships with the five sacred elements of life as we open to the deep magic of the elements and listen to what they have to teach us. With the art of magic, we deepen our vision and focus our will, empowering ourselves to act in the world.
Elemental work is fundamental, and also endlessly fascinating and illuminating magical work. No matter how little or much experience we have with them, there are always new, powerful and subtle mysteries to discover and explore.
WHO: We welcome all participants to this class, whether you are new to witchcraft and looking to explore a new path, or an experienced practitioner intending to reconnect with or deepen your own work.
* This class is all ages, and we welcome folks from all walks of life, backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and histories.
* We will take COVID precautions and meet outdoors and weather allows.
WHEN: Wednesdays 5/3, 5/10, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
COST: $90-$240 (a $50 non-refundable deposit saves your space), some scholarships available.

Aphrodite…of the Heavens…our ally in love… calls us to dive into the bittersweet waters of devotion and desire. What is the shape of your yearning? What holy longing calls your soul of expression up and out, conjuring offerings and incantations to the Mysterious Ones? In this class we will invoke Aphrodite as Sacred Initiator, grounding in mystical practices both traditional and intuitive. We will learn and practice spells and devotions that Her/Their many followers have employed to call Her/Them in and through us. We will visit Her/Them through trance and storytelling, art and song.
We will explore the themes of self love as foundation of true mystical connection, understanding how our desire is holy, either when connected to another in the form of eros or when opened into a wider aperture of the world as lover. We will dream into devotions and disciplines that remind us to live the life of the mystic in a chaotic world.
